Let the Good Times Roll at the Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party

8th Annual Sanford Mardi Gras Event to Benefit Meals on Wheels on Feb. 19

Get ready to grab your beads at the 8th Annual Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party. Enjoy great food, music and fun for a cause at this beloved community event.

Hosted by the Sanfording Event Production Group of West End Trading Co., Celery City Craft, Historic Downtown Sanford® Visitors Guide and Ladies327 the festival will feature over 50 of Central Florida’s top food trucks and vendors in the ‘Famous L’ of beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford.

The Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party is excited to feature the Kid Dutch Perseverance Brass Band and The Smoking Jackets, two of Florida’s favorite brass roots jazz and cover bands, on the stage performing in their home state.

The parade gathering will start at 3:30 pm on 6th Street and Sanford Avenue. Then at 4 pm attendees from the event can sashay down Sanford Avenue all the way down to West End Trading Co. with musicians from the event.

“We are so excited to bring Mardi Gras back to Historic Downtown Sanford” said Paul Williams, owner of West End Trading Company. “We are thrilled to bring more amazing artists, food trucks and vendors to help bring the community together and give back to others.”

All vendor fees from the Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party will be donated to Meals on Wheels Seminole County.

Meals on Wheels has been providing home-delivered meals and transportation services to the seniors of Seminole County since 1973. In the past seven years, the Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party has raised thousands of dollars for this charity.

The 8th Annual Mardi Gras Street Party is sponsored by Loggerhead Distillery, Abita Brewing Company, Bud Light Seltzer, Top Hat Catering of Sanford and Sanford Golf Cart Gurus.
