Choo Choo to the Zoo

Choo Choo to the Zoo Returning this Summer

Starting Monday, June 3, ride SunRail to the Sanford Station and catch a ride on Choo Choo to the Zoo, a free shuttle that will take you to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens!

This service will be provided to riders from the Sanford SunRail Station to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens through Friday, August 9, 2019. Choo Choo to the Zooshuttles will be available on weekdays (Monday–Friday), at select times between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

Riders who show their SunRail ticket or SunCard at the Admissions Window will receive a 20% discount on single-day Zoo admission or admission for the Upland or Rainforest course at Seminole Aerial Adventures.

“We’re excited to once again partner with SunRail, the City of Sanford, and the Sanford Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to offer Choo Choo to the Zoo,” said Dino Ferri, CEO of the Zoo. “The beauty of this service is that it encourages the use of public transportation in our community, which is great for conservation, all while giving folks another way to come enjoy the Zoo.”
