2nd Annual St Paddy’s Day Truck Pull & Street Festival

The 2nd Annual St Paddy’s Day Truck Pull & Street Festival takes place in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford on March 16, 2019, at 4:00pm. Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, vendors, craft beer, and other activities. For the children there will be face-painting, a balloon artist, and a kid’s zone sponsored by Ladies 327 Supper Club. Musical performances featuring traditional Irish music will be featured across multiple stages. Among the acts confirmed to perform are Celtic Fusion band Hard to Port and the legendary Rosie O’Grady’s Highlanders Pipes and Drums.

The festival’s most popular event, the fire truck pull contest, begins at approximately 6:00pm. During this competition, teams of ten work together to pull a fire truck one block. Any individuals interested in forming a team and participating can sign up by emailing Kim Colegrove at Kim@ladies327.org.

Entry into the festival is free. All monies raised from the pull truck competition, t-shirt sales and select vendor booths benefit Special Needs Ability Program, Inc.

“We are blessed to be the beneficiaries of the Paddy Pull event every year to further our mission and continue to grow our support and services to our amazing Special Needs community,” said Jamie Grover, Founder, Special Needs Ability Program, Inc. “We love Sanford and thank the Sanford Fire Department and many others for recognizing the value in the work we do.”
