Oh here we go again, it’s one of those weekends where we all have a hard time to choose which event or activity to attend. But let’s admit it, isn’t this our favorite “problem” to deal with here in Historic Downtown Sanford? We are confident you’ll make the right choice for all your #Sanfording needs!
Start Friday slower with a visit at your favorite restaurant, brewery or bar and enjoy some of the amazing entertainment options including The BJB at Sanford Brewing Co. or Skin Deep Live Music at The Alley. Inner Compass Brewing even has some stand up comedy happening with Due North Comedy.
Saturday will be busy so after a short visit at the Sanford Farmers Market do something for your health and join a REFIT Class at Sanford Brewing (this includes a beer so why not stay for lunch and drinks right after?). The Rosie Lee has a fun vintage pop-up boutique, The Chiffon Cat, stopping by. After that you can either head over to a Whiskey Cocktail Class at Bitters & Brass or join fellow pet owners and lovers at the annual Pints n’ Paws Reboot 2018 at Celery City Craft. Can you believe it’s been already almost half a year since the big event in March? Reason enough to come together again for a good cause. And how convenient is it to have the Sanford Food Truck Fiesta happening right there on Palmetto Avenue? So no worries, there will be plenty of choices with Food Trucks like Kona Dog, The Maine Thang and Tango01!
And let’s not forget the Sanford Art Walk and an event we are especially excited about because when Folk Art Meets Design you will get inspired! Music lovers will enjoy their options for the evening as well: How about Skaugust 2018 at West End Trading Co. or Quadraphonic Surround Sound: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Rush at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center? As if that’s not enough, Wops Hops Brewing Company is hosting a Beach Party Burlesque with the Black Garter Dolls.
Come Sunday you’re certainly wondering where to get your brunch fix for the week. How about one of our favorite spots, Tuffy’s Bottle Shop & Lounge? And to make their La Empanada Brunch even better they’ve invited Hannah Harber for a special concert. Brunch paired with endless Aperol Spritz and amazing tunes? Sign us up!
For all you wine lovers out there, check out the Founder’s Club Introduction Party at Luisa’s Cellar with tapas on the house for members!
But Sunday is also A Day Of Remembrance. Celery City is hosting a kids and pets friendly benefit (including a silent auction) honoring Donna Neff with all proceeds donated to ADL.
